Vitronite	Polished vitrified	Mirror-finish polished vitrified tiles. Designs include Solitare Plus and Tropicana.
Glazed vitrified tiles	GVT	Printed surface fired under glaze — the broadest design choice.
Polished vitrified tiles	PVT	Full-body polished tiles, typically for floors.

Glazed vitrified carries the design in a surface layer; polished vitrified runs the body through. A chip shows on GVT and barely shows on PVT, which is why PVT suits floors that take traffic.
Polished tiles are slippery wet. Do not put them in a bathroom or on an outside step — ask for a matt or anti-skid finish there.
Formats run up to 120x240 cm. Large formats need a flat substrate and a bigger crew; on an uneven floor they crack.
