Size by circuit, not by habit: 1–1.5 sq mm for lighting, 2.5 sq mm for general power points, 4–6 sq mm for geysers, ACs and the mains run.
FR is flame retardant; FR-LSH additionally limits smoke and halogen. In a house fire smoke is what stops people getting out, so the upgrade is worth it on concealed runs.
A 180 m coil is the standard unit. Estimate per circuit before ordering — offcuts from short coils cost more than one longer one.
